These photos were taken during a birthday party my son was invited to at DFW Adventure Park. I originally had my camera in the car for some street photography, but once I saw the energy and fun unfolding, I couldn’t resist capturing a few candid moments. What started as a casual outing turned into a chance to document some joyful, real-life memories.

At the All British & European Car Day, I set out to capture not just cars—but character. Shooting with 35mm film brought a timeless feel to a gathering already rich with history. Each frame was carefully composed to highlight the craftsmanship, color, and culture behind these iconic vehicles. Shooting on film slowed the process, encouraging patience, precision, and appreciation for the art—both behind the camera and under the hood.

From muscle cars and hot rods to vintage cruisers and custom builds, the Elks Lodge Car Show brought together a colorful spectrum of automotive passion. This photo series captures the details that made each vehicle stand out. More than just machines, these cars told stories of their owners and eras gone by.

Black and white photography strips away the distraction of color, allowing texture, form, and contrast to take the spotlight. In this series, shooting in black and white allowed me to focus on light and composition—turning these mechanical works of art into visual poetry.
